Student Council

The student council, that's you too!

A student council is the term used to describe all students in a field of study. So the computer science student council is made up of all students in this academic program.
The student council meets regularly, discusses current events and takes action! Networking and helping each other is the motto!

The student council elects its representatives, the student council members. They represent the interests of the students and are in regular contact with the staff members responsible for the study program. Student Council members serve on various committees, such as the Faculty Council, the Board of Directors of the Center of Computer Science, the Examination Committee, and the Student Advisory Board. But they are also up for fun: They are responsible for organizing excursions, barbecues, game nights or other student events.

For the Center of Computer Science, the student representatives are the contact persons when it comes to improving the study program and the study conditions. For more information and if you have any questions, check out the student council website or send an email to fsr-informatik@rub.de.
