Curtain up: The first IT.Connect will take place in November 2021.
As part of the networking concept IT.Connect 365, the RUB’s company contact fair IT. Connect will celebrate its premiere in November. As a result, the trade fair for IT security, ITS.Connect, which is well established for 13 years, is getting its sister event for IT.
The Ruhr-University Bochum occupies a major position in the training of specialists in the IT industry. Computer science is represented at the Ruhr-University Bochum by several research institutes that offer the degree programs: Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, IT Security, Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science, and Information Technology (as part of the degree program ETIT).
We want to connect students with potential employers early on. In this way, we can support students and companies alike in their steps toward a successful future.
The fair will take place on two consecutive days and consists of two parts.
Digital Pitch Day 17.11.2021 14-16 Uhr
Company presentations in Zoom followed by break-out sessions. Participants learn more about the companies, their tasks, and everything about entry and job opportunities!
Bits & Burgers - Networking with Burgers and Drinks
On November 18th, we invite all fair participants to join us on campus in Building MC for a lively exchange over burgers and drinks starting at 4:30 pm. The afternoon will begin with a lecture on the topic of innovations in computer science. Afterward, company representatives and students will have the opportunity to deepen their impressions from the previous day and exchange ideas in personal discussions.
