As the largest educational institution in IT security with around 1,000 students, the Ruhr University Bochum occupies a pioneering and leading position in Europe.

With our in-house trade fair ITS.Connect, we give students of IT security the opportunity to network with potential employers at an early stage: Since 2008, ITS.Connect has offered students of IT security or related subjects a platform to get in contact with numerous companies in the industry within a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s the start of a career, final theses or internships, ITS.Connect is the right step towards a successful future in any case!

At the last face-to-face ITS.Connect in 2019, we welcomed more than 60 companies and 400 graduates from all over Germany to the RUB Event Center. In 2020 and 2021, the ITS.Connect was promptly transferred to a digital format due to the pandemic. With a varied mix of company presentations and case studies, the companies also successfully gave the students an understanding of their day-to-day work with its typical challenges and problems.
